Do I drive the car myself, or is it a passenger ride?+
You drive. Every EXR experience is self-drive: you sit in the driver's seat for the whole session while a certified instructor sits beside you, coaching in real time and matching the pace to your ability.
Is my foreign driver's license accepted?+
Yes. A valid foreign driver's license is all you need — no Israeli license or international permit required. Visitors from abroad drive with us every week.
Do the instructors speak English?+
Yes. The instructors are certified and English-speaking, and the entire booking conversation on WhatsApp runs in English too.
Is there a minimum age?+
You need a valid driver's license to drive, which sets the practical minimum. If you're booking for a young driver or want a family member to spectate instead, message us on WhatsApp and we'll advise on your specific case.
How safe is it?+
Safety is the core of the format: a full briefing before you drive, a certified instructor in the car at all times, insurance included, and — at Arad — a licensed circuit with an official pit lane, overseen under Ministry of Culture & Sport and motorsport authority licensing.
Am I insured while driving?+
Yes. Insurance is included in every experience at no extra charge — it's part of the published price, not an add-on.
How much does it cost?+
From ₪1,000 (approx. $270) for a ~60-minute entry session up to ₪8,000 (approx. $2,150) for a full experience day, depending on car, location and duration. The full breakdown is on the pricing page — no hidden extras.
Which cars can I drive?+
Three: a Chevrolet Corvette C6 (450 hp V8, rear-wheel drive), a Mitsubishi EVO X (300 hp turbo, 4WD, manual gearbox) and a BMW M240 (turbo straight-six, balanced and precise). You can combine cars in one visit — see the cars page for who each suits.
Where do the experiences take place?+
Two locations: the Arad race track in southern Israel — the country's most technical circuit, with 14 corners, an official pit lane, a paddock and a spectator area for up to 1,000 people — and the Nes Harim mountain roads in the Judean Hills, about 30 minutes from Jerusalem.
Can friends and family watch?+
Yes. The Arad circuit's spectator area holds up to 1,000 people, so your whole group can watch from the stands. At Nes Harim companions accompany the group — ask us about your party when booking.
Do I get video of my drive?+
Yes — professional video and photo coverage is included in every experience. You leave with footage of yourself driving, ready to share.
What happens in bad weather?+
Sessions run in coordination with you: if conditions on the day aren't right for driving, we reschedule together on WhatsApp. The desert around Arad is dry most of the year, and winters there are mild.
I have zero track experience. Can I still book?+
Absolutely — most guests are first-timers. The briefing assumes nothing, the instructor builds the pace around you, and the forgiving BMW M240 is a popular first car. Experienced drivers get pushed harder; that's the point of personal coaching.
How do I book — is there an online checkout?+
No online checkout, by design. Booking is personal, via WhatsApp at +972-50-661-0451: you say which car, which location and when, and get a personal quote and confirmed date in minutes. It works identically from abroad.
Can I buy it as a gift?+
Yes — digital gift vouchers are a specialty. The voucher is delivered by WhatsApp or email, and the recipient chooses their own car, location and date. See the gift voucher page for details.
