Nes Harim is the other side of sports driving. Where a circuit repeats — the same corners, lap after lap — a mountain road keeps unfolding. In the Judean Hills the bends flow into climbs, the climbs crest into descents, and every kilometre asks something slightly different of you. Instead of chasing a lap time, you settle into a rhythm: read the road, place the car, carry the speed the corner allows.

It's the experience closest to the classic "great driving road" fantasy — a proper sports car, a road with character, and a certified English-speaking instructor in the passenger seat reading the road ahead and coaching your lines, braking and car control the whole way. Scenery a circuit can't offer

The Judean Hills are one of Israel's most scenic regions — forested slopes, terraced hillsides and long views that open up as the road climbs. Driving here isn't only about the car; it's about where the car takes you. The footage from a Nes Harim session looks different from track footage too: winding ribbons of road through green hills rather than kerbs and pit walls. If your ideal drive comes with a view, this is the location.

30 minutes from Jerusalem

Nes Harim sits in the hills roughly half an hour from Jerusalem, which makes the logistics unusually easy for visitors: no long desert transfer, no full-day commitment unless you want one. Staying in the city? You can be on a mountain road with a V8 rumbling in front of you before your coffee wears off, and back in Jerusalem for dinner.

Built for two

The road-trip character of Nes Harim makes it EXR's favourite couples' format. One of you drives while the other rides along, then you swap — shared scenery, shared adrenaline and shared footage to argue over afterwards. It works just as well as a surprise gift: the reveal happens when the car does.
