The road, not the lap

Nes Harim is the other side of sports driving. Where a circuit repeats — the same corners, lap after lap — a mountain road keeps unfolding. In the Judean Hills the bends flow into climbs, the climbs crest into descents, and every kilometre asks something slightly different of you. Instead of chasing a lap time, you settle into a rhythm: read the road, place the car, carry the speed the corner allows.

It's the experience closest to the classic "great driving road" fantasy — a proper sports car, a road with character, and a certified English-speaking instructor in the passenger seat reading the road ahead and coaching your lines, braking and car control the whole way. As at every EXR experience, the safety briefing, insurance and video & photo coverage are included.

Scenery a circuit can't offer

The Judean Hills are one of Israel's most scenic regions — forested slopes, terraced hillsides and long views that open up as the road climbs. Driving here isn't only about the car; it's about where the car takes you. The footage from a Nes Harim session looks different from track footage too: winding ribbons of road through green hills rather than kerbs and pit walls. If your ideal drive comes with a view, this is the location.

30 minutes from Jerusalem

Nes Harim sits in the hills roughly half an hour from Jerusalem, which makes the logistics unusually easy for visitors: no long desert transfer, no full-day commitment unless you want one. Staying in the city? You can be on a mountain road with a V8 rumbling in front of you before your coffee wears off, and back in Jerusalem for dinner.

Built for two

The road-trip character of Nes Harim makes it EXR's favourite couples' format. One of you drives while the other rides along, then you swap — shared scenery, shared adrenaline and shared footage to argue over afterwards. It works just as well as a surprise gift: the reveal happens when the car does.

The cars, and the alternative

The full EXR fleet runs at Nes Harim: the 450-hp V8 Corvette C6, the rally-bred 4WD Mitsubishi EVO X and the beautifully balanced BMW M240. If you'd rather have repeatable laps, a pit lane and a spectator stand, look at the Arad race track — or compare both on the locations page. First time doing anything like this? Start with how the experience works and the first track day guide.

Pricing: Nes Harim experiences run from ₪1,000 to ₪8,000 depending on car, duration and format — instructor, briefing, insurance and video always included. See the full pricing page or ask on WhatsApp for an exact quote.

FAQ

Nes Harim — common questions

How is Nes Harim different from the Arad race track?+

Arad is a closed, licensed circuit where laps repeat; Nes Harim is real mountain-road driving through the Judean Hills — the road keeps unfolding with flowing bends, climbs and descents instead of repeated corners. Same cars, same certified instructor, same insurance and video — a completely different character of driving.

How far is Nes Harim from Jerusalem?+

About 30 minutes by car. That makes it the natural choice for visitors staying in Jerusalem — easy to fit alongside a day in the city.

Is Nes Harim a good experience for couples?+

Do I need any driving experience?+

No. A certified English-speaking instructor sits beside you the entire drive, reading the road ahead and coaching your lines, braking and car control. The pace is always adapted to your level, and foreign driving licenses are accepted.

Which cars can I drive at Nes Harim?+

The same fleet as at Arad: the 450-hp V8 Corvette C6, the turbocharged 4WD Mitsubishi EVO X with a manual gearbox, and the balanced BMW M240.
